I don't know about you but I'm pretty new to the make up world. I was a fairly simple lady. Just grabbed my eyeliner and I'm good to go!
For the past year I've been dabbling in the high end make world and learning about contouring, and all that fun stuff.
The way I learned was watching tutorials, and going to beauty stores and asking for make up advice by artists. It wasn't easy and it took a few tries but I think I have it down pat for now!
One of the biggest issues I've encountered is the prices! Good gracious it is not cheap! Especially if you love brands like urban decay, anastasia beverly hills, and tarte!
With plenty of looking around, I've finally found little ways to get the brands I love for a great price! Always remember to sign up for ulta rewards and start collecting those points so you can get to platinum status, download the app and keep an eye on the coupon emails and sales!
My favorite event was the 21 days of beauty event which only occurs twice a year. So ladies take advantage of this event! They have great deals!

I bought this kit for $10 dollars! I also got a free bottle and bag with this purchase! This stuff is actually great and I have sensitive skin. Can’t beat all of this for 10 bucks!
Tarte clay powder
This was not on sale but it had a deal free gift with tarte purchase of $40 bucks or more. I needed powder, and this stuff is amazing. Especially with the Amazon clay tarte foundation. So I got a free cute bag, a sample and a tiny concealer sponge. Adorable!
Probably one of my favorite items I was able to get was the Anastasia Beverly hills duo eyebrow pressed powder. It’s absolutely amazing if your going for that clean natural eyebrow look
Urban decay vice lipstick
This actually wasn’t on sale but it was displayed up front and I couldn’t help but look at it. It’s a gorgeous color that sits so nicely. Definitely worth the $17 if your looking for something different and high quality.
Dermaioglca age smart daily superfoliant I’m already a fan of dermaioglca so this was a must. This stuff is great, pour a little in your hand, add some water, then Apply! I feel refreshed instantly and for half off ($9) this is definitely worth it!
Urban decay razor sharp black liquid eyeliner Yes! I bought this online and only paid $3 and this is hands down the BEST liquid eyeliner I’ve used.
Kabrow eyebrow pomade
This is flashy and cute but I wasn’t a huge fan. If you like eyebrow pomade, maybe you will like this but it doesn’t give the effect I was going for. Still a great price.
Ulta beauty
Ulta beauty had a sale buy 2 get 2 free plus I used their 3.50 off a 15 dollar purchase. I spent about 10 bucks for all this. The rainbow highlighter is the best for the price if you can still find it!
Ulta had 50% off make up brushes so naturally I stocked up. Great deal!
Butter London glazen eye gloss
I was actually looking forward to this day of the event. I bought some of this full price a few months ago. So I went and bought two other colors I real wanted. This stuff is amazing. A little bit goes a long way but if you want a nice iridescent cream eye gloss, this is for you! This was on sale for $12
Tarte precision eye liner
Tarte is actually my favorite make up brand. The eye liner is great, especially if you do not like the paint brush style brush. I personally like the paint brush style, so I’ll only use this on occasion. This is great for beginners looking to explore liquid eyeliners.
Urban decay naked flushed pallet
This is great over all for an exotic but natural-look for contouring. It’s good quality and comes with all you need for a nice look. $17 on sale.
Naked urban decay smoky eye pallet
I got this on sale for $27 dollars! If you love the dark smoky eye look and flawless high quality make up, this is for you! I highly suggest <3
NARS primer
I got this for free with a coupon ulta sent me! :) who can beat free?
Stilla natural lipstick
This has turned into one of my favorite natural lipsticks. I wasn’t even going to buy it! I’m glad I did. $11 on sale
Tarte mascara
Once again, I was looking forward to this day and I even bought two! This was so worth the cost and it’s flawless. $10 each
Smashbox mascara and primer
For $10 each, this was so worth it! I wasn’t too familiar with this brand but I wanted to give it a shot. I was not let down.
So that is basically everything I got during the ulta sale. I think I’m pretty stocked up on new stuff to try out but ulta really has the best prices for higher end makeup and I cannot wait until their spring event in March! Hope you all enjoy!
